Responsibilities

  • Manage and contribute to direct client support

  • Assist in developing and implementing operational processes for organizational efficiency and program compliance

  • Assist with budget development, liaising with bookkeepers on financial matters, manage other financial tasks as requested by the ED

  • Assist in all aspects of program support and oversight to ensure effective service delivery

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies

  • Contribute to strategic planning as requested by the ED

  • Oversee office operations

  • Maintain an orderly and professional workplace environment

  • Other duties as assigned

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive full-time Operations Manager to assist our executive director to lead our nonprofit service-oriented organization with enthusiasm and strategic insight. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a thoughtful and motivated individual to make a significant impact for our long-term residential living homes. This position is flexible.

Experience

  • Experience with direct support of disabled individuals preferred

  • Proven management experience — nonprofit experience a plus

  • Ability to communicate and interact with financial services vendors

  • Ability to organize office systems for reporting and communication with Board of Directors and clients

  • Ability to create and manage payroll, petty cash, and other office systems (including MS Word and QuickBooks Online)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Maintain policies and procedures manuals and posts necessary information bulletins as directed

  • Assists staff in any administrative issues as assigned
