Responsibilities
Manage and contribute to direct client support
Assist in developing and implementing operational processes for organizational efficiency and program compliance
Assist with budget development, liaising with bookkeepers on financial matters, manage other financial tasks as requested by the ED
Assist in all aspects of program support and oversight to ensure effective service delivery
Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
Contribute to strategic planning as requested by the ED
Oversee office operations
Maintain an orderly and professional workplace environment
Other duties as assigned
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive full-time Operations Manager to assist our executive director to lead our nonprofit service-oriented organization with enthusiasm and strategic insight. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a thoughtful and motivated individual to make a significant impact for our long-term residential living homes. This position is flexible.
Experience
Experience with direct support of disabled individuals preferred
Proven management experience — nonprofit experience a plus
Ability to communicate and interact with financial services vendors
Ability to organize office systems for reporting and communication with Board of Directors and clients
Ability to create and manage payroll, petty cash, and other office systems (including MS Word and QuickBooks Online)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Maintain policies and procedures manuals and posts necessary information bulletins as directed
Assists staff in any administrative issues as assigned
